Ventanas del Mar was envisioned as a place where the natural landscape guides the built environment – not the other way around.
With fewer homes intentionally integrated into the hillside, our low-density layout helps preserve the region’s beauty and biodiversity. No structure rises above the natural tree canopy, and we take great care to protect existing trees and green spaces throughout the property. This is true eco-conscious living in Costa Rica, designed to feel rooted, respectful, and enduring.
OUR PROTECTED NATURE PRESERVE
APPROXIMATELY 52 HECTARES DEDICATED TO CONSERVATION
At the heart of Ventanas del Mar lies a private nature reserve spanning approximately 52 hectares – one of the few dedicated preserves in the region. This dry tropical forest sanctuary is protected from future development and serves as a space for biodiversity monitoring, nature walks, and environmental education. It’s a living classroom, a refuge for native species, and a long-term commitment to conservation in action.
