WHERE IS VENTANAS DEL MAR LOCATED?

Ventanas del Mar is located in Playa Carrillo, Guanacaste – an unspoiled beach town known for its beauty, safety, and family-friendly charm. Nestled just minutes from lively Sámara, and an easy drive to both Nosara and Nicoya, this quiet destination offers the perfect balance between seclusion and access to everyday conveniences.

Ventanas del Mar is located right in Playa Carrillo, with our property running along the scenic beach road. From our currently built homes, the beach is just a five-minute drive away, offering convenient access to one of Costa Rica’s most picturesque and pristine shorelines.

Liberia’s Guanacaste International Airport (LIR) is the closest major airport, approximately two hours away by car. San José International Airport (SJO) also services the region, with domestic flights into Nosara or Tamarindo, or a 4.5-hour drive to Playa Carrillo.

Playa Carrillo enjoys a warm, tropical climate year-round with average temperatures around 82°F (28°C). December through April marks the dry season, bringing clear skies and sun-filled days. The green season, from May to November, offers lush landscapes and occasional afternoon showers. In July, the weather often turns summer-like again for a few weeks. October and November are the rainiest months, though even during these times, rain typically falls in brief morning or late afternoon bursts. Outdoor activities are best planned for earlier in the day.

Yes, we strongly recommend having a car to fully explore the area. While our concierge can assist with airport transfers and rental car delivery, day-to-day transportation options like taxis or rideshares are limited. A personal vehicle provides greater flexibility for visiting beaches, restaurants, and surrounding attractions.

Yes. Select lots offer flexibility for custom builds. Our team can guide you through the design process and connect you with vetted architects and builders.

Our condominiums are sold fully furnished with high-end finishes and locally inspired design. Single-family homes are customizable and sold unfurnished, allowing owners to tailor each space to their taste.

Yes. Costa Rica offers equal property ownership rights to foreigners. Property can be purchased in your name or under a Costa Rican corporation.

Homeowners Association (HOA) dues cover community maintenance, landscaping, and security. Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet are billed separately.
